John’s Café invites you to discover New American cuisine with a subtle Mediterranean influence at our quaint restaurant in Woodbury, CT. We prepare everything from scratch with only the highest quality ingredients. We offer a full lunch and dinner menu, featuring unique dishes like “Sam Adams” Steamed Prince Edward Island Mussels and “Egg & I Farms” Grilled Pork Chop, as well as classics like Grilled N.Y. Strip Steak and English Style Fish & Chips. Our chef recommends that you try one of our seasonal dinner specials, which run the gamut from Pan roasted monkfish to Rigatoni pasta with red wine Bolognese sauce. You’ll find our food to be very gratifying and absolutely delicious.
We pride ourselves on our comprehensive wine list at John’s Café. Our wine offerings include the best of California and the Pacific Northwest. To complement the Mediterranean flavor of some of our dishes, we also recommend one of our special French, Italian and Spanish selections. Our Colonial-style facility at John’s Café captures the essence of rural New England. Our main dining area can comfortably accommodate forty patrons. We maintain a cozy, yet fully stocked bar with a plasma TV for your viewing pleasure. John’s Café can also accommodate special events and private parties.
